                  PLACES OF INTEREST AROUND ROCHESTER                              

- Visit Wegman’s at Pittsford Plaza on Monroe Avenue.  The rich and famous have made it a stop during their visits to Rochester. It really is a grocery store experience like few others around the country.

- Visit  Strong Museum of Play and the Butterfly Conservatory.

- Visit the Memorial Art Gallery on University Avenue, the Rochester Museum of Science/Planetarium, or the George Eastman House, both are located on East Avenue.

-    Check out both The Village Gate in the University Avenue and North Goodman Street area and the Artisan’s Works located near Winton and Blossom Roads.

- Consider stopping at Schoen Place, off Monroe Avenue (Rt. 31) in Pittsford, N.Y.  for unique shopping and dining.

- Stroll the boardwalk or walk along the Genesee River’s edge in
Charlotte.  Then you could top it off with an Abbott’s famous custard ice cream cone across the street.

- Remember Sea Breeze and Don & Bob’s (now Don’s Original) and Vic & Irv’s?  Yes, they are still  around, looking almost thesame as back “then”.
