When I read the email this morning, it was with great sadness. Karen was a very sweet, great friend. Karen, Sharon Krasinski, Rene Fogarty, and me all hung out together. Rene, Karen, and I all went to the Senior Ball together. I remember the beautiful white gown that she wore. Someone thought she was getting married that day when they saw her in that dress. She married her high school sweetheart not long afterwards. Karen and I did not keep in touch, unfortunately. I did t alk to her when we were contacting classmates for our 50th reunion. It just brings it all in focus. None of us know what tomorrow is going to bring. Enjoy every day and keep in contact with your friends, both old and new, and your family. Treasure what you have.
I too saw that Karen had passed. It is always a shock to see that one of your classmates has died. I was a friend of hers and remember hew well. We both went to RBI together. Sadly I did not keep in touch with her. She is now one of God's angels.
I am so sorry for the sudden death of Karen. I was lucky enough to usher at the theatre with her a couple of times this year. We always had a nice visit. I will miss her smiling face. May she rest in Peace. Love to her family.
