It's so sad to hear that Don has passed away. He was such a great guy to know and was a good basketball and track star at Franklin. It was an honor and a privilege to know him in class and when I was the varsity basketball and track manager 1961 and 1962. He will be missed, but will always remain in the memory of all who knew him.
I am sorry to hear of Don's passing. We spent some good times together playing basketball in high school and it was good to catch up with him at our 50 year school reunion after not seeing him for many years. He had alreaady had both hips replaced and was getting ready to have his knees done so we talked a lot about our sports injuries.
He was a great soccer player and one of the pioneers, along with Charlie Schianno, of professional soccer in America.
