I have thought of Marty from time to time. We shared most classes at Franklin. And, we played doubles in, yes this was a school sport, badminton. We won in the county but lost in Section 5. He knew enough about sports to have predicted the Pirates' success even before the 1960 season started. We were out of touch for decades, until we intersected at the 50th.

sad to hear of Marty's passing. We were together K-12 and lived one block away from each other.
He was quiet but always the smartest guy in the room. RIP Marty.
